This quest is set out differently than all the previous quests and is separated into five different parts.  You have 9 days to complete the entire quest to receive the costume pack but you also receive a prize of different costumes for different age Sims when you complete each part.

The forth part of the quest gives you a prize of a cute fairy for your female teen Sims and a frightening scarecrow costume for male preteen Sims.

You can either wait for it after completing part 3 or you can speed it up for 5LPs

Ask about Halloween party needs - 5 mins
Check for food supplies - 8 mins
Make roasted pumpkin - 10 hrs 15 mins
Buy a stereo
Turn on the stereo
Listen to spooky music - 2 hrs
Ask Misty what to do - 12 hrs 30 mins
Collect candy - 175 candies, 2 hrs 30 mins for every 6 candies

Remember purple monsters will appear every 5 minutes and you can have multiple Sims collecting candy at one time.  Come off your game for 15 mins or so, go back on and you should have new purple monsters that you can collect candy from.

After completing this part, the fifth and final part of the quest will begin.  If you have completed the parts quickly you may have to wait a while or you can skip using 5LPs

The third part of the quest gives you a prize of a rainbow unicorn for your female preteen Sims and a lion costume for male preteen Sims.

Tell others about costumes - 4 mins
Think of a solution - 8 hrs
Take funny selfies - 1 hr 30 mins
Email selfies - 16 mins
Joke with a Sim - 5 mins
Have nightmares - 9 hrs
Collect candy pieces - 100 to collect - 3 hrs 30 mins each time and you will collect 5 candies each time.  You will need to 'Collect candy pieces' 20 times.  Remember you can have more than 1 Sim collecting at a time!

Once you've collected all the candies and won the preteen costume prizes you can skip through to part 4 for 5LPs or you can wait until it becomes available to you.

After you've completed the first part of the Night Of The Candy Monsters quest you can continue through to part 2 either by paying the 5LPs to skip or wait the remaining time until the part becomes available.

For this part the prize is astronaut costumes for your toddler Sims.

Form a party plan - 5 mins
Send Halloween invitations - 12 mins
Ask Misty for advice - 7 hrs 30 mins
Practice scaring - 8 secs
Show of scaring skill - 8 hrs 30 mins
Scare the orange candy monster - 8 secs
Pout on a seat - 10 hrs
Ask Misty what happened - 25 mins
Collect 30 candy pieces - 4 hrs 30 mins for each 4 candies (watch the video for a hint on this)

The Monsters And Magic Update has arrived in Sims Freeplay just in time for Halloween.  The first part of the update consists of a new quest - Night Of The Candy Monsters Quest.

This quest is set out differently than all the previous quests and is separated into five different parts.  You have 9 days to complete the entire quest to receive the costume pack but you also receive a prize of different costumes for different age Sims when you complete each part.

The first part of the quest gives you a prize of a magical fawn costume for female adult Sims and a Frankenstein costume for male adult Sims.  

Browse internet for costume - 48 secs

Call a costume store - 4 mins

Go to the park

Approach a purple monster - 2 secs

Hide in the park (using a park bench) - 2 hrs 20 mins

Talk to Misty the ghost - 5 mins

Watch the Halloween news - 19 hrs

Talk to Misty again - 25 mins

Practice scaring another Sim - 8 secs

Build courage on a seat - 5 hrs

Collect 5 candy pieces - 5 hrs each scare (click on the purple monsters to scare for 5 hrs, I received 2 pieces of candy each time so had to do this three times, but others report drops of only one candy each time)

Once you have collected 5 pieces of candy you have completed the first part of the quest.  You have given 2 days to complete this part so depending on how long it has taken you you will have different options from here.

If if has taken you longer than 2 days you will win the fawn and Frankenstein costumes and automatically continue to the next part of the quest.

If you have completed this part quicker than 2 days (i.e. using ups to speed things up) you will have two options (1) wait out the remaining time until the next part of the quest comes available or (2) skip the task for 5LPs.

A little hint for the monsters - they will just appear! Once you have collected the candy from one it may take a few minutes for the next monster to arrive so be patient and wait a while, maybe come out of your game for a few minutes and when you go back in you should have another purple monster waiting for you.

Sims Freeplay | Limited Time Outdoors Event

At 12am (in your time zone) on 10th October 2015 the limited time Outdoor Event begins.  There is a time limited of 10 days on this event and you can win 7 different outdoor packs including lights, tents and plants.

To take part in this event you must have built Deer Spring Falls campground, built the picnic area and unlocked the survivalist hobby.

Sims Freeplay | Fashion Hunter Hobby | Glam & Glitz Update

Who can be a fashion hunter?

Teens and adults can be fashion hunters.  Up to 5 Sims can complete this hobby in the mall.

How can you be a fashion hunter?

You need to complete the Pretty Little Planters quest and the make up artist hobby.  Once you have completed those you will need to unlock 'Memory Lane' which is the second area of the second floor of Sunset Mall.  Once unlocked you will need to bring as many Sims over to the mall and clean up the area.

Once all cleaned up you will need to build the 4 stores on the right side of the mall - Legit, Mandolins Boutique, Kthxbai! and Electric Kapow.  Only when all of these stores are built will you get access to the fashion hunter hobby.

To take part in the fashion hunter hobby you can either click on the 'sale stalls' in the centre of the mall or the clothes racks outside any of the stores in the mall.

What will I unlock?

As soon as you build the Fashion Hunter Bargain Center a 7 day limited time event. You will need to complete the fashion hunter hobby within the time limit to win the sky diving. You will unlock the Movie Theatre even if you don't complete the hobby within the 7 days.

What are the fashion hunter options?

There is only one option when completing the hobby - 'Hunt for Fashion' for 5 hours 30 mins

What are the fashion hunter collectibles?

As with the make up artist hobby each time you complete a row of the collectibles you unlock a new store in Sunet Mall.

What do I win?

The first time you complete the grid you will win the Movie Theatre and is you complete it within 7 days you will also win the Indoor Skydiving.

What if I can't find a collectible?

Just keep going.  It is completely random which collectible you win each time so there are no special tricks to getting a specific one.  You need to get at least one Sim up to level 6 though to be able to collect them all and you can have up to 5 Sims completing the hobby at one time.
