The Ringlets Of Fire Quest was originally available on 21st August 2014 but it is now back for a limited time! 7th - 14th March 2015. It is for all those players who didn't manage to complete it the last time round or, if like me you've restarted your game or weren't playing back in August.
The quest unlocks 9 styles of long hair which are a really nice addition to the collection so I'd definatly recommend completing this task - although it's not going to be easy. To win each hairstyle you have to complete the fashion hobby - that means 9 hairstyles, 9 completed fashion hobby collections. Yeah, you heard that right, 9 times within the 7 day limit!
If you already have a Sim at level 6 fashion designer this is definately going to help you as you won't need to wait for the various designs to become unlocked.
I'd recommend having multiple Fashion Design Studios in one house and just completing the 10 minute option over and over.
To begin this quest you first need to click on the 'Yes' on the pop up that will appear, then you can get started.
There are a few things you need to do before you start creating fashion designs. Here's the task list:
Talk to a Sim - 1 minute
Spot long haired Sims on T.V - 5 minutes
Email the long haired celebrity Sims - 2 minutes
Buy a Fashion Studio - from Promotions R Us for $2500
Create 1 fashion design - 10 minutes
Create a complete outfit set - one row of the collection
Create all four outfits - complete the collection
This unlocks the first hairstyle.
You must keep on doing the fashion hobby and complete it a whopping 9 times to get all 9 hairstyles so you best get to it!
My tips for completing this in time are:
Have more than one Sim working on it
Have multiple Fashion Design Studios set up in one house
Complete the 10 minute option over and over agin if you can as you will find the most designs doing it this way
Get at least one Sim up to level 6 Fashion Designer so that all the designs are unlocked
Keep going! This one is definitely about perseverance!
