Sims Freeplay Windows & Doors Glitch

 

 

Do you look at all those gorgeous SP windows and doors and wish you has enough Social Points to buy enough to decorate your Sims houses?

 

Well now you can with the help of this duplication glitch with the Dream Homes Update.  To be able to do this you must have completed the A Dance to Remember quest as you need the rugs and have around 15-30 SP.

Sims Freeplay | DIY Home: Basement Of Kings Quest

This quest is a discoverable quest available from 20th May 2015.  Before you can complete this quest you must have completed the Peaceful Patios quest and the Lovey-Dovey Balconies quest which are also part of the Dream Homes update.

To begin the quest head to the Community Center to find DIY gal, Bree and click on the bubble above her head.

Sims Freeplay | Horse Vaulting Hobby

Who can take part in horse vaulting?  

 

Adults

 

What do I need for a Sim to be a horse vaulter?

 

You need to build the stables on the mysterious island first.  Once you have built the stables you will need to clear the 'horse tricks' and 'horse vaulting' areas.  You must complete the Horse Tricks hobby before you can start Horse Vaulting as completing Horse Tricks unlocks 2 star horses which are needed for vaulting.

 

What will I unlock?

 

When you complete the horse vaulting ribbon collection for the first time you will unlock level 3 horses.
 

What is the horse vaulting option?

There is only one option when vaulting and that is 'Vaulting' 4 hours 30 minutes
 

What are the horse vaulting levels?

1. Horse Crasher
2. Flailing Jellylegs
3. Second Poser
4. Stable Statue
5. Poised Horse Master
6. Horseback Gymnast

How do I collect horse vaulting ribbons?

 

Click on a horse at the stables and select horse vaulting. When the Sim has finished an exclamation mark appears, you need to click the '!', your Sim will complete a little trick and you will receive a ribbon.

What do I win?

• First time you complete the collection you unlock 3 star horses which are needed for showjumping

What if I can't find one of the ribbon?

 

You've just got to keep going! Collecting the ribbons is completely random and there is no special trick to collecting them quicker.

Sims Freeplay | Hallway House | Prebuilt Houses

The Hallway House is a new house that came with the Dream Homes Update in April 2015. It is a simple, one story house with two double bedrooms and a large open plan living space.

 

What's special about this house is that it's the first house that uses the new ability to have smaller rooms of 2x1. It hasn't actually got a 2x1 room but it shows off that feature with the long single square hallway running straight down the centre of the house.

The cost of the house will vary depending on your town value.

What do you think of the house?  Personally, I'm slightly disappointed that it's not slightly more spectacular but suppose it's got quite a bit of SP pieces of furniture which may be worth it to some people.

 

 

Sims Freeplay | Haunted Mansion | Prebuilt Houses

The Haunted Mansion is the limited time prize for completing the Ghost Hunters quest within the 7 day time limit.

As with all houses the price depends on how many buildings you already have in your Sim Town i.e the more buildings you have the more expensive they become to build.

The Haunted Mansion can be built on a standard or premium house plot and there is a difference in the house depending on which lot you choose to build it on.

Here is the main overview of the house. It has one double bedroom with a shower en-suite and a kind of secret single bedroom which attaches to the main bathroom.  There is also a lounge, kitchen and large dining area.

This is the back garden. I know, beautiful right? It's full of grave stones! Not exactly what I'd want in my back garden but it is a haunted mansion after all so all those ghouls and ghosts need somewhere to sleep when they're not terrorising the residents.

This is the main entrance to the house, complete with spooky skull knockers on the doors. 

The lounge consists of lots of spooky furniture including a spooky fireplace and a skeleton leg coffee table.  The sofa is designed like a coffin which looks pretty awesome.  I'm not quite sure why the bookshelf isn't the spooky bookshelf and in my Haunted Mansion I've changed this bookshelf to be the haunted one.

This is the main bathroom and I just love this bath.  Like a lot of the spooky furniture it is shaped like a coffin.  But the best part about the bath is when someone gets in they don't bathe in fresh, clean water, it's red blood that comes out of the taps!

The biggest room in the house is this large dining room with space for 10 diners.  Here you get a good view of the windows throughout the house which are stained glass with red candles on the ledge.

 

In this small kitchen just off the dining room there is a coffin table (you getting the theme of this house yet? Coffins!) and some really stylish gothic style kitchen work surfaces.  The sink doesn't really match the theme and again, I've changed this in my mansion now.

The main bedroom features a double bed in the middle of the room which fits in perfectly with the theme.  There are two open doorways off the bedroom, one of which is a walk-in-wardrobe and the other is an en-suite shower room.

This is the hidden single bedroom which simply features a coffin single bed, some chains on the wall  and oddly a cat bed.  It has an open doorway off the main bathroom.

Outside in the garden there is a spooky scarecrow next to a garden patch. 

If you purchase the house on a premium lot you will get the added extra of a pool in the back garden.

Sims Freeplay | Ghost Hunters Quest

LEVEL UNLOCKS: 22
UNLOCKS: ghost hunting hobby
TIME LIMIT: 7 days
PRIZE: haunted house

The Ghost Hunters quest unlocks at level 22 and once completed will unlock the ghost hunting hobby.  All previous quests must be completed before this becomes available.  There is a time limit of 7 days to complete this quest to win the limited time prize of the haunted house.

 

If you complete this quest in 7 days you will unlock the haunted mansion.  This is a new house that you can build in your town.  It's a pretty awesome house, full of haunted items that you can use to practise the ghost hunting hobby. Click here to see the full review of the haunted mansion.

 

The next quest which unlocks is the Seniors quest.

Sims Freeplay Adulthood Quest

LEVEL REQUIRED | 21
UNLOCKS | teens ageing to adults
TIME LIMIT | 6 days
PRIZE | expanded wardrobe

The adulthood quest unlocks at level 21 and you must have completed all previous quests to unlock this one. There is a time limit of 6 days to get the limited time prize which is an expanded wardrobe.  If you don’t complete it in the time limit you will still be able to age your teens into adults but you just won’t get the expanded wardrobe prize.

 

 

The expanded wardrobe prize includes some new hairstyles and clothes which I was quite pleased with but I've heard they're just items that used to be in the game that were taken out.  Personally, I don't remember them and I'm always pleased to get more hairstyles so I was happy.

After completing this quest you will unlock the Ghost Hunters quest.

 

 

Sims Freeplay | Road to Fame Quest

LEVEL UNLOCKS | 20
UNLOCKS | teen hobby
TIME LIMIT | 7 days
PRIZE | premium instruments

This quest unlocks at level 20 once all the previous quests have been completed.   You will need a teen for this quest as you will begin to create a Teen Idol. Only one of your teenage Sims can become a Teen Idol and it is classed as a hobby for your teens.
This is a timed quest and you have 7 days to complete the task.  You can still complete the task after the 7 days have passed but you won't win the limited time prize of the premium instruments.

 

 

 To complete the quest you must write all 15 pieces of music (write a different note from the collection) You use a keyboard to write the first 3 notes then: 

• The first 3 notes unlock Bass guitars which you must use to find the next 3 notes. 
• The second line of notes unlocks Drum kits which you must use to find the next 3 notes.
• The third line of notes unlocks Electric guitars which you must use to find the next 3 notes.
• The forth line of notes unlocks the Microphone which you must use to find the final line of notes.

After completing this quest you will unlock the Sim Town Sign.  The sign is over by the Estate Agents.  You need to upgrade it like you do the monuments on Mysterious Island to earn bonuses.  To upgrade it you need to collect the notes in the Teen Idol hobby and you will win parts for the sign.  Once you have collected all the notes you can start the collection again to collect more parts for the sign. 
 

When you upgrade it to level 3 you will unlock the Teen Idol Mansion

 

After completing this quest you will unlock the Adulthood quest.

 

 

Sims Freeplay | How to get 1,500,000 Simoleons in 10 minutes | NEW 2015 Glitch

Hey guys. I just had to share this video I've just made about a glitch in the Dream Homes Update.  It's pretty awesome and is making me very rich!

The second quest from the Dream Homes update has arrived in Sims Freeplay. This quest unlocks the new balcony feature and you must have completed the Peaceful Patios quest in order to unlock this.

This is a discoverable quest which means it won't just automatically pop up in your quest queue, you have to head over to the Community Center and click on Bree, the construction worker.
 

 

 

Completing this quest will unlock DIY Home: Basement of Kings quest.

 

 

Sims Freeplay | Dream Homes Update Schedule

The Sims Freeplay Dream Homes Update has been around for a week or so now and it seems to be causing some confusion. We got the Peaceful Patios quest. We completed it. Now what? What about the balconies, basements and promise of 5 floors?

This seems to be the quest and event schedule:
 

Tuesday 28 April 2015 - DIY Homes: Peaceful Patios quest opens - go to the park and find Bree, the construction worker to begin this quest.  There is a 7 day time limit and you will unlock patios after completion.  The limit time prize is a make out couch.
 

Wednesday 6 May 2015 - DIY Homes: Lovey-Dovey Balcony quest opens - go to the community center to find Bree this time to begin the quest.  There is a 7 day time limit and you will unlock balconies after completion. The limited time prizes are privacy screens and planters.
 

Thursday 14 May 2015 - 5 floors become available

• 1st floor - free
• 2nd floor 300,000
• 3rd floor - 500,000
• 4th floor - 800,000
• 5th floor - 1,000,000

(I guess I'll be sticking with 1 floor houses for now then because those prices just seem insane to me!)

Wednesday 20 May 2015 - DIY Homes: Basement of Kings quest opens. This quest has a time limit of 7 days and you will unlock basements after completion.  The limited time prize is Bree's DIY Home.
 

Friday 5 June 2015 - Figure Skating Event - this is a 9 day event much like the Sleepwear Event we've recently had.  I suggest you build the Snow Park if you haven't already and get a Sim up to level 6 in Figure Skating now so it makes this event slightly easier for you as the timing on Figure Skating has changed to 12 hours with the update.  The prizes for completing this event will be Basketball Court, a Ping Pong Table and a Putting Green.
 

• These quests do not start automatically on these dates from what I understand and you have to go and find Bree and click on the bubble above her head from the dates listed in order to unlock each quest. 
• The quests stack up so you have to complete Peaceful Patios before you can complete Lovey Dovey Balconies.
• The Ice Skating Event will start at midnight on the date shown.

Sims Freeplay | The Pirate And His Goddess Quest

This quest is part of the Pet Paradise Update in 2014.  This quest unlocks at level 18 once you have completed all the previous quests.

There are 2 riddles in the quest and the walkthrough below will tell you the answer to the riddles so be careful if you want to try and solve the riddles yourself.

Once you have completed this quest head on over to the mysterious island and you'll see the new pirate ship.  You can use the pirate ship to trade gems with pirates in order to level up the Ancient Goddess (also located on Mysterious Island)

 

The limited time prize is the pirate fashion pack which, honestly, I was slightly disappointed in.  It contains dreadlocks hairstyle with a bandana and eye patch and tattoos.  Whilst the items we get are pretty cool I'd have liked a pirate outfit too.

 

Completing this quest unlocks Road To Fame quest where we can get a Teen Idol Sim

Sims Freeplay | Fashion Designer Hobby

Who can be a fashion designer?

What do I need for a Sim to be a fashion designer?

 

You need to build the Promotions R Us store on the Sim Town map first and then buy the fashion studio.  Once you have bought the studio it will be placed in your inventory, from there you need to place it one of your houses.  Tap on the studio to make a Sim create a design.

Where can I be a Fashion Designer?

You can create fashion in any of your houses that have a Design Studio or at any neighbours houses with a Fashion Studio.

What if I can't find one of the clothing items?

 

All I can suggest is that you keep doing 'Design Fashion' which takes 10 minutes. Collecting the clothing is completely random and there is no special trick to collecting them quicker.
