On 2nd April you will be able to access the Throne Room in Northern Glade Castle. There are several things you will need to have done before the throne room becomes available to you:
Finish the Royal Lineage quest
Complete the Archery hobby
Build the Royal Gallery
Complete the Jester hobby
Once you have completed all these you will be able to build the Throne Room which is in one of the 4 corners of the Royal Gallery. Building the Throne Room will give you access to the staircase all the way up to the third floor of the castle where the throne room is.
The Throne Room will give you access to several new things
- Royal clothing
- The Royal Fireplace with special interactions
- The throne in order to issue decrees to SimTown
- The Green Fairy with special interactions

There are several decrees you can issue from your throne:
Each decree takes 4 hours for your King or Queen to make and effects your town for 24 hours.
- Friendship Day which speeds up building friendships by approx. 33%
- Walk Like Zombies Day which does exactly that, makes your Sims walk around Sim Town like Zombies.
- Rainy Day which makes it rain on every lot in Sim Town
